Eco Conscious Developments (ECODEV) thinks and acts locally and internationally. We are based in Ikom and Calabar, Nigeria with contact offices in Germany and Canada. We are working toward sustainable development globally. Building the capacities of community members on the managment of watersheds, forests, natural resources and the development of ecoturism. As well as seeking to implement renewable energy and sustainable Agric projects.

We welcome visitors, volunteers, interns, researchers and Tourists,to our projects and program areas. Our programs are equally open for sponsorship/funding.

ECODEV considers its long-term goal to be the conservation of unique and biodiversity rich habitats ( biodiversity hot sports of the World) through socio-economic based community empowerment.

The best time to act positively, with sustainability as a watch word, is"NOW".

The organisation was founded in 1998, as a Volunteer based Civil Society Organisation. ECODEV remains a pro People and Environment Organisation. Our main focus is on sustainable Development/Habitat conservation. We seek to achieve these, through sustainable Agriculture, Renewable Energy and Community Economic empowerment. We advocate for as well as seek to provide alternative sources of livelihoods, in forest Communities. And encourage the implimentation of ecologically sound and economically viable ventures, with the view of protecting our Uniqe/Pristine Rainforest ecosystem. Our three directional approach programmes, aims to harmonize the socio-economic and ecological benefits which are at odds, through environmental awareness creation, workshop facilitation and eco conscious projects execution.
